We are made up entirely of warriors, survivors and caregivers. We have a wealth of knowledge, support and empathy. But most importantly, we have love, compassion and a sense of humor. Our members come to us through word of mouth, member referrals and MD referrals. We connect you with one of the members with a common diagnosis, surgery and treatment. We also encourage you to join our Facebook closed forum, where you can ask questions and receive advice from the entire group.
We created “Survivor Bags” for our new warrior members. They are filled with everything we needed during chemo, radiation and surgery.
We utilize carecalendar.org to assist members and caregivers with dinners and household chores.
Please see the SBTS Blog for upcoming events. Our events consist of large group get-togethers or fundraisers for causes we believe in, i.e. American Cancer Society. We do not solicit donations, but several local businesses who have seen the difference we make, run fundraisers to benefit SBTS.

We meet as needed by the members. There is no formal agenda or schedule. We are always available.
Many of our members have become lifelong friends outside the group. It is a truly nurturing culture.
